Every plate appearance is played from real numbers: the batter's rates per plate appearance that season and the pitcher's rates per batter faced, combined against that season's league. When a hitter and a pitcher come from different seasons, each is measured against his own league and they meet in a reference league (every DH season pooled, about 4.6 runs a game). OVR only sets draft value and salary; pitchers are priced against hitters of the same rank, so a top bat or an ace costs about $30M and a top closer about $11M. Your league saves in this browser.
